Megan
Donahue grew up acting Shakespeare with Class Act Drama and the Michigan Youth
Theater. After
making the (agonized) decision to major in English instead of Theatre, she
wandered the earth, searching for a theatre company that cared about producing
important plays with superb quality (but wouldn’t require a degree or an Equity
card.) She saw FCT’s café production of A Midsummer Nights Dream and was
enraptured. She was cast in the next production that season (Hamlet), and
has been hanging around ever since. Recent credits at FCT include Rivers in
Richard III, and Short Play Festival 2004. Last summer Megan
premiered Forbidden Fruits with The Femme Fatales at the London Fringe
Festival, in Ontario. In her non-theatrical life, she's an English student who
teaches creative writing, drama, and Shakespeare to children.
